Two hours will cover a ceremony and group photographs afterwards. Three hours will cover the ceremony and
photography before and after the ceremony, with no reception coverage. For a ceremony and reception at one location, four hours is the minimum, with seven hours ideal. For a non-Catholic church wedding
with reception at a different location, five hours is minimum coverage, with eight hours being ideal. For a Catholic wedding which starts at the bride’s home or hotel, moves to the church and then the
reception, six hours is the minimum, with nine hours ideal.
Typically digital file packages include up to 36 finished images and/or proofs per hour. Overtime, with 18 additional color-corrected digital files, costs $125 an hour.
For video, a four--hour package will cover a ceremony and popular reception events at a one-location wedding.
